Chance to see busy Centre

The Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) are inviting people to an Open Day at the Pioneering Care Centre on Saturday 1st June between 10am and 2pm to experience everything PCP has to offer, for free!

If you’re looking for something different to do with the kids, there’ll be family games, arts and crafts and smoothie making. Or if you’re wanting some ‘me-time’ have a therapy taster or a dip in the relaxing Hydrotherapy Pool (between 12-2pm) don’t forget your swim wear!

Or why not increase your social time by joining a group such as New Age Kurling, Boccia, Zumba Gold, Colour your Life, health walks or cycling?

Health trainers will be offering health checks and advice on diet and nutrition, physical activity, goal setting, stopping smoking and much, much more.

There’ll be PCP staff and volunteers on hand to tell you about the full programme of services and activities available to keep people in good physical and mental health.

PCP can also assist groups and organisations by offering affordable room hire and conference facilities in the Centre and free use of a community shop in Aycliffe Town Centre, for weekly or one off activities. Plus all visitors will receive a special offer for the Mall Coffee shop.

Carol Wood, Business Development Director for the PCP says: “We want more people to experience what PCP have to offer to help people get fit, learn a new skill, discover a new hobby or improve their confidence and self-esteem. Our new family activities and Supporter Scheme means we can reach out to a wider range of people who may not have visited the Pioneering Care Centre before.”

The Open Day is this Saturday at the Pioneering Care Centre, Carers’ Way, tel: 01325 321234 email: enquiries@pcp.uk.net website: www.pcp.uk.net.
