After a summer full of exciting performance events and sleepovers KDANZ are letting the adults join in! KDANZ has had a wild summer being involved in the County Durham urban Games initiatives across the area and organising two x 24 hour sleepovers with impromptu performances in the Town Centre Park.

With a full line up of events with the Durham Wildcats, they thought they’d see if anyone else wanted to join in the fun . . .

From September to December KDANZ have decided to invite any Dads who would like to try break dancing to come along for dance sessions for FREE! To support the Olympic legacy, Active Aycliffe project and promote healthy lifestyles KDANZ hope this will help families to stay active and enjoy staying fit together.

Dad of two, Tim Gelder said, “Break dancing is really taking off at KDANZ  and I love being a part of it’.

With a new timetable out and registration night being on Thursday 13th September, we are hoping that those brave parents come along with their kids and show them just what a good role model is. The break dance class that Dad’s are welcome to is every Thursday evening 5.30-6.30pm held at Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre.

Mams are not left out either, they can get a FREE dance class by bringing this article with them to the Adult Street Class on Thursdays 8.30-9.30pm.
