Fresh, from their recent runners up performance at the Blackpool Tournament, Heighington AFC Boys Under 12’s took their good run of form into last Saturday’s Mount Pleasant Tournament, narrowly losing 1-0 in the Semi Finals to eventual winners Marton A.
However, they went one step better on Sunday at the Wensleydales, Catterick Tournament, winning this for the first time in their history. They beat Spennythorne 1-0, in a competitive final, so well done to all the kids for all their commitment and effort over the weekend.
