A fantastic line up of wannabe singers are set to perform at Aycliffe Pride Festival on Saturday 1st July 2023 from 12noon at ROF59 Arena.
Headlining the festival are ‘The Spicey Girls’, a set of five brilliant ladies who look and sound just like the real thing.
There will also be superb sets from ‘Elton John’, ‘Gary Barlow’ and ‘Freddie Mercury’ tribute acts and joining them on stage will be local singer ‘Cassie’ (as seen on TV) and members of her singing group ‘Sing it’. A young group of four teenage girls from Teesside called ‘Pink Lemonade’ and HC Theatre Group will complete the line up.
A mobile bar as well as burger van, Chinese food and ice cream van will be also available. Vicky Hilland will be on hand for face painting and glitters. The afternoon will also feature local stall holders including sauces, cakes, pride merchandise, candles, wood carvings, jewellery, plus raffle and tombola stalls.
Advice and information stands from Unity Foster Care, AKT (taking care of homeless LGBTQ+), NHS Wellbeing, Dale Care Home Services, Sisters of Support, 5 Acres, Centrepoint – joining them will be the local fire brigade and police beat team.
This year’s event is sponsored by Aycliffe Town Centre Management, Unity Foster Care and Husqvarna who will be holding a raffle on the day with a chance to win a Husqvarna 405X Auto Mower worth £2000. Husqvarna and Dale Care Home Services will also be distributing free goody bags to audience members, plus a free Aycliffe Pride pin badge.
