Ayclive Events are looking forward to welcoming you to Ayclive Festival 2023. Part of Newton Aycliffe’s 75th Anniversary celebrations.
Please find below information to help the day go smoothly . . .
1 – There is no entry to the Sports Complex to Festival Goers.
2 – No alcohol will be permitted on the show field/arena, bag searches will be carried out and concealed alcohol will be confiscated. You could also be asked to leave/refused admission if we feel it is appropriate. A fully stocked bar will be on site.
3 – You may bring picnic food/nibbles – no barbecues. Please be prepared to take your litter home.
4 – Soft drinks/water will be permitted in SEALED containers only, our security team will have the final decision if items will be permitted.
5 – No dogs allowed (unless they are assistance dogs).
6 – Please do bring chairs/blankets for your own comfort, ensure these are taken away at the end of the event.
7 – If you are coming by car, please be aware that a one way system will be in place for the duration of the event. Entry will be via the OakLeaf Sports Complex access road, parking for the festival will be in the field by the lorry park, which is also the exit point. Please follow road signs and marshals instructions and be aware of pedestrians.
8 – If you live in Newton Aycliffe, there will be a shuttle bus service running from 11am with J&C Coaches. Times and pick up points are as follows:

Cemetery, by the Navy Club 3 mins past
Huntsman bus stop 8 mins past
Bus stop at Jet Garage 12 mins past
Bus stop on Burn Lane 15 mins past
St Clare’s Church bus stop 18 mins past
Blue Bridge bus stop 20 mins past
Railway Station car park Drop off
This will also be available as a return journey at the end of the event. Please be aware that a 24 seat mini bus will be used for this service, so seats are limited.
9 – As with all events, bags will be searched on entry.
10 – This is a Challenge 25 event. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 years of age, you will be asked for ID to prove you are over 18, before being given an adult wristband.
11 – Ticket sales will close at 12noon on Thursday 27th July. Ticket sales after this time will be available on the gate, if there are any available (we are close to a sell out).
12 – Entry to the show field will be a three stage process:
1: Ticket Checks (for those only holding an email confirmation or paying on the door) – If you have a physical ticket you will skip this process;
2: Security Check/Bag Search;
3: Wristband Allocation and ID Check.
13 – For any child under the age of 14, please write your contact number on their wristband in case you get separated.
