On 16th October Kymberley Morgan-Lynskey, a student in Year 11 at Greenfield Community College raised over £50 in her COPE lesson  for the RSPCA charity by organising a car wash. Kymberley contacted members of the Newton Aycliffe Fire station crew to assist during the car wash, which was a great success!
Anthony Collins, the Fire Officer in charge of the group that came to assist with the event said: “I would like to congratulate Kimberley for all her hard work, organisational skills and enthusiasm that she showed both in the arranging and throughout the time we spent at the school.
It is very pleasing to see a young person doing such fantastic work in trying to help others through charitable works.”
Greenfield would like to say a huge thank you to all those who were instrumental in making the event a success, the Fire Officers, staff, and those who joined us at the event. A particular well done to Kymberley for her hard work and success!
