Councillor Blenkinsopp in a proposal to the Town Council suggested the Town Centre Market would be better placed on the waste ground next to The Cubby. “It is the ideal spot between the two supermarkets and would help tidy up this derelict site” said Billy. This is a good idea as the current temporary site for the market is a danger to pedestrians.
