On Saturday 24th March Darlington New Orleans Jazz Club welcomes back the hugely popular Dave Donohoe and his band, plus the great Tom Kincaid on keyboard. Dave’s toured the world over the years, delighting audiences with his blend of classic New Orleans jazz, popular standards, sometimes a hint of Latin-American rhythms, not to mention the occasional country and gospel numbers.

Dave will get a great welcome from his fans when he comes back to the Club and his visit is followed by the return of another favourite when the hugely popular Savannah Jazz Band comes back on Saturday 7th April.

The Jazz Club meets at St. Augustine’s Parish Hall, Larchfield Street, Darlington and both gigs have a 12.30pm sharp start. Entry is just £10 on the door, and children aged 15 and under go free. Darlington for Culture members are eligible for discounted entry on production of their membership card.

St. Augustine’s has a licensed bar, tea and coffee are available, and everyone is very welcome to bring their own food along for a picnic whilst the band is entertaining. Plenty of free on-site car parking. It’s just a short walk from bus stops on Tubwell Row and Darlington railway station.
