Mark Smith grew up in Barnard Castle, and studied in Manchester, graduating with a first-class honours degree in Accountancy and Finance in 1990. He trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1995 and has worked for a small number of local firms, gaining invaluable experience.
He lives in Heighington Village, with his wife and two young children. Mark is an active, family man, who enjoys spending time with his young family, keeping fit and socialising with friends.
