Western Area residents meeting was held this week with 59 local residents attending. Thank you all for coming.
LIVIN failed to attend which infuriated the residents. The excuse was the area person was on holiday and the other person was at a residents meeting in Spennymoor.
This meeting was advertised in the Newton News and I would have expected LIVIN to be present. Micheal Fishwick asked all the officers at LIVIN on Wednesday morning if one of them could attend but they all declined.
The Western Area Regeneration programme is causing a lot of distress to some of the residents who want to know some answers.
The next residents meeting will be held on Wednesday 2nd May, I do hope LIVIN will attend.
There is also a meeting at the GREAT AYCLIFFE FULL COUNCIL on WEDNESDAY 25th APRIL, doors open 6.45pm.
G.A.R.A. will be giving a presentation on the regeneration followed by a discussion. If members of the public wish to speak they must inform the council 7 days prior to the meeting on 01325 300700 to register your request.
LIVIN WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS IN THE DISCUSSION
