The Rector of Great Aycliffe, Rev. Christopher Pearson, retires due to ill health at the end of February.
It is unfortunate to lose such a well-respected priest after only being in the town for such a short period.
On behalf of the townspeople we thank him for his ministry and wish him happiness in his retirement.
