It was Tuesday morning, 12th November, I was absolutely delighted to learn that Conservative Durham County Councillor Paul Howell will be standing in the General Election.
Paul will make an excellent MP, long before any election was on the cards, Paul called in to ask if he could help my charity in any way, and he certainly did.
The only County Councillor who ever offered to help the Community Kitty.
Of course I asked him why and his response was simple “Because I like what you do and how the community responds to it”.
That’s a genuine and community spirited man.
Getting back to the General Election, I do hope that die hard Labour voters put aside their loyalty to a Labour Party which has consistently let us down and is not the party that our parents and grandparents voted for.
Think! Corbyn, Antisemitism, being bullied by Brussels, uncontrolled immigration – yes, a chaotic mess for generations to come.
That is why we must vote Conservative to make sure Brexit does happen. Please don’t make the mistake of voting for the Brexit party.
By voting for Paul Howell, we would finally have a local MP with our interest at heart, who would definitely not betray us.
So, forget the rest, this time Tory is best. Vote for Paul Howell on 12th December.
