If you’re looking for something to do over the summer holidays for your children, why not visit the library where we are holding several craft sessions each Thursday during August.

Salt Dough – Ghosts; 1st August; Haunted House – 8th; Skeletons – 15th; Batmasks – 22nd and Spiders on 29th August.

The craft sessions will take place in the library from 2.15 pm to 3.15 pm and will be open to children of various ages so please contact the library for more information.  All sessions are 50p per child and due to popular demand places must be booked in advance by either calling into the library or phoning on 03000 269 519.

We are also holding the annual summer reading challenge, which this year is based on the Creepy House.  This involves reading 6 books, collecting stickers and receiving a medal.  Call in to join in the fun.
