Local Champion martial arts fighter Dave Cunliffe has offered to raise funds for our local cheerleading team Nemesis All Stars who are in desperate need of training equipment.
Dave who holds 4 titles in is due to fight for another British title in 3 weeks was given a skydive by his family and he thought he would get sponsorship to help Nemesis. He visited their training hall which is very basic with limited equipment, but that hasn’t stopped them becoming very good at what they do! The team train several times a week and enter various competitions, but really need a tumbling mat for safety and to develop skill.
Both Dave and the team joined in on a mixed session combining his training with some of their own which was great fun! The target for the equipment needed is £3,000 and his skydive will take place in April.
