We were glad to be back at St. Andrews, Aycliffe Village and out of the October weather. David Blair, the Church Warden, had opened up for us again and then left us to it.
I sketched, in pencil, some wall mounted stone sculptures and then photographed them to finish later in pen and ink. The group sketched stone crosses and wood carvings.
By the time we finished we were all feeling the chill and agreed to end the season after 10 weeks. I would like to thank everyone who participated, especially Sheila who never missed a week.
I will miss their company until the better weather next year.
