Fundraising Cabaret Evening taking place at Steam Machine Brewing Company LTD, from 7pm on Friday 31st March.
The event is a fun and thoughtful evening, with musicial performances from Bubamara (Folk Exotica), Bashar Alharan (Syrian Oud Guitarist), Little Hands from Middlesbrough, and a wellspring of other acts.
Food for the event will be on the theme of Turkey to give attendees a taste of my homeland, which has recently been damaged by severe earthquakes, leaving many people in Turkey & Syria homeless.
The event is free entry, but profits, donations, and money from our raffle will be going directly to the Disasters Emergency Committee, for which the UK government are matching donations. All are welcome.
We have already had a wonderful response to the raffle from our amazing local business community, including donations from Shake ‘n’ Cake, Al Fresco Napoli, Fit-Niche, Thames Butchers and more. We are truly humbled by the thought and care shown, and we would love for any other businesses out there who wish to either attend, or to donate, to get in touch.
