Year 9 students at Woodham Academy have recently taken part in a production with Enact Solutions called ‘Destination for Success’. The performance was provided by FutureMe which is a programme involving all universities and colleges in the North East, who are working together to support higher education and educate students about their available options. Enact provided an enlightening, down to earth performance which the students engaged in and learnt more about the importance of their GCSEs and the impact of this on their future. Students were also encouraged to raise their aspirations and attend further education to achieve their desired career. Following the performance students were given time to reflect on what they had learnt and have begun to explore their options and choices beyond Year 11. This was a great opportunity for our Year 9 students who greatly enjoyed the production.
