ACORN Residents Association are busier than ever over the festive season; commencing at 6pm with their monthly meeting on Thursday 10th December. Where members will be reflecting on the year’s events and contemplating community activities for the coming year. Little ACORNS will begin proceedings at 5.30pm by discussing future plans. The group continues to go from strength to strength with numbers growing from year to year.
ACORN welcome representatives of other community groups, residents of Great Aycliffe and beyond, Police, livin, County Councillors and Town Councillors to discuss issues and inform us of local developments
Swiftly following this ACORN are organising a Christmas party on 12th December 6pm till 10pm featuring a disco, games, raffle, snacks and a visit by the big guy in the red suit. These events are family friendly and encourage parents to have a good night out with their children. Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Panto night with ACORN is something really special. 70 people of all ages will be crying with laughter at the Gala Theatre Durham on January 2nd as they watch a super performance of Cinderella.
