Green Arts are delighted to launch a programme of creativity for the winter season. Our new base at the Eco Centre in Moore Lane boasts a bright and welcoming workshop space to inspire you through the winter months.
Our programme has something for all of the community with lots of free and low cost activity on offer.
Creative Explorers offers fun free activity each Thursday with a chance to learn new skills, build confidence and learn more about the environment. Suitable for age 7+ the sessions are led by professional artist Dawn Belshaw from 4.00pm – 5.30pm.
Why not get crafty and come and join us?
Our adult ‘Dip into Art’ sessions will offer the chance to enjoy free taster sessions, there will be various workshops each Tuesday from 1.00pm – 2.00pm. This season there will be winter watercolours, landscape photography (with a walk to take in the winter scenes), mixed media and creative sessions for beginners and improvers.
Our Men’s Cree group meet each Monday from 10.30am – 12 noon and are always busy making and creating to support the community and improve their own wellbeing. This season they are busy making bird boxes and festive items to share with others and learn new skills.
To bring in the close to the season we have some family focused holiday workshops with festive crafts made from recycled materials.
