Students at Woodham Academy who are currently studying for a GCSE in Art, took part in an Art and Design workshop led by two Graphic Designers on Thursday 6th February.
The aim of the session was to give students an insight into careers within the graphic design sector. The guest speakers were volunteers from the company ‘Inspiring the Future’ which provides fun, easy and effective ways to provide young people with an insight into different career sectors. Students found the workshop both informative and interesting.
The workshop formed part of a project entitled Equipped For Life which has been sponsored by the Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership. All students who took part in the project have been given the opportunity over half term to attend a series of workshops to further refine their skills.
