Homes and communities business, livin has been named as one of North East’s best Apprenticeship Employers in the regional final of the National Apprenticeship Awards 2013.
The highly commended entries and winners were announced at a high profile awards ceremony organised by the National Apprenticeship Service, which was held at Radisson Blu in Durham on Thursday 12 September.
livin was highly commended in the Nuclear Decommissioning Site Licence Companies Award for Medium Employer of the Year category for its livin futures programme run in partnership with Mears, Bullock, Southdale and the Foundation of Light.
The programme focuses on supporting local residents and tenants to find sustainable employment covering apprenticeships, training and work placements across a range of disciplines including construction, business and sport.
