The power of Newton News came to the aid of the Food Bank recently and I wonder if you could help us with our project?
We are having the Western Area Community House painted outside, grass tidied up, seats and window security bars painted etc.
We are wanting a firm if possible to supply (loan) us equipment scaffolding to safely reach the top windows. We also welcome any firm on the Business Park who may sponsor us to do this spruce up.
Our funding is limited as the families in this area don’t often have trips away so our money goes mainly to make sure families enjoy a day out.
We also would like anyone who has ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS to put in our hanging baskets at Silverdale Centre as we did last year. Just ring 07967 901477 or 01325 308094 and we will collect them or please leave them at the community house. We are there every Tuesday morning Monday afternoon and Thursday.
