Emily (Beast) Denham has been selected to represent England in the under 15’s European championships in Montenegro from the 16th to the 26th October, she has been a member of Aycliffe Amateur Boxing Club for three years and goes from strength to strength and all the members of the club send their congratulations.
Since winning her 3rd national schools title Emily has been attending England squad training in Sheffield on a regular basis in preparation for these prestigious championships where 34 other countries will enter a team with over 400 boxers. This is just the start of her international boxing career,

If anyone would like to join the classes at the boxing club, the age groups are, Kid Gloves from 4 years old to 9 years old, 4.30pm to 5.15pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Junior classes 9 years old to 14 years old, 6pm to 7pm, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Senior classes from 15 years old +, 7pm to 8pm, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at, Acorn House, Durham Way North, Aycliffe Business Park. DL5 6HP. The boxing club is also open on a Saturday morning from 10am to 12 for anyone that would like to have a go at punching the bags or just to do a bit of keep fit.
