It was the Christmas Fair at St. Clare’s Court Care Home on Saturday the 10th December.
My daughter Ruby wanted to entertain the residents and visitors at the event by singing Christmas songs, she sang a few oldies too, like ‘We’ll Meet Again’ and ‘Que Sara’, which saw the residents and visitors singing along.
They have asked her if she would like to go again, to entertain the residents on an afternoon.
Ruby has autism and attends Cassandra Bowtell’s singing group each Monday night. Since Ruby has been attending, she has grown in confidence, the support and encouragement Cassandra provides is amazing. Ruby didn’t talk until the age of 4, so being able to sing like she does now is amazing, she can only get better.
