It’s all quiet on the hedgehog front, a lot will be hibernating but they may periodically wake for food then go back to sleep till spring hopefully. Myself and Tara make a habit of keeping our eyes peeled when we are out on our travels, always having a pet carrier with us just in case we spot a hog in trouble, some of our friends and rehabbers are still bringing little ones in, it’s just too cold for them, they need rescuing, especially if found during the day which all of ours were and with different health problems too.

They are all making great progress, Robyn, who Brenda found, is a lovely girl, very happy and settled and gaining weight. We have met some lovely people who have helped us with either cash or food donations and customers who have purchased items from Facebook to help us keep the pennies rolling in.

Firstly, Sonia, always donating nice food for our hoggies, Pattie, bless her, enjoys all her food, Julie who has purchased little animal treats that June and Will made also Pat, who found Matty, has also purchased some.

Thank you all for your support.

Tip of the week: Please continue to put food out in feeding stations, if you have one, they need this food all year round. For help/advice we have a Facebook page Prickly Haven Hedgehog Hotel or BHPS, 01584 890801.
