On Friday 3rd October, sixteen Year 10 students from Woodham Academy took part in a two-hour food tour of Newcastle’s iconic Grainger Market, led by Triple A Food Tours.
Students explored a variety of international flavours, sampling everything from fresh local crab and acai smoothies to steamed dumplings and traditional French crepes.
The tour wasn’t just about tasting, it also offered fascinating insights into the rich history of the market as well as meeting a variety of local businesses such as Geordie Bangers and King Baby Bagels.
