‘Stand up for Labour’ is holding one of its popular comedy night events on behalf of Sedgefield Labour Party. Headlining the show is the winner of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and star and co-writer of Radio 4’s sitcom ‘Ability’, Lost Voice Guy! (Lee Ridley).

Also appearing is the hilarious stand-up poet Kate Fox who has been compared with the late Victoria Wood for her skilful use of rhyme. Kate regularly appears on Radio 4 and is a big hit with audiences at ‘Stand up for Labour’ events.

Finally, winner of ‘stand up of the year’ and a star of the cult comedy Sci-Fi series ‘Red Dwarf,’ in which he played the computer ‘Holly’, and of his own sitcom ‘I,Lovett’, Norman Lovett is one of the pioneers of Alternative Comedy and has been a regular performer for Stand up for Labour since 2013.

The night will also include liquid prizes and a raffle.

The evening is sponsored by Unison and FBU and is hosted by Crispin Flintoff, who set up Stand up for Labour in 2013 and has organised over 250 shows for Labour Party constituencies across the UK.

This special event is taking place on Wednesday 18th September at 7.30pm in The Big Club, Sheraton Road, Newton Aycliffe, County Durham DL5 5NU.

There are only a limited number of tickets, early bird tickets cost £10 if bought before 1st September. Advanced tickets cost £12 and, if there are any tickets left on the night, these will cost £15.
