Mrs Legge, Deputy Head at Sugar Hill Primary School, has written a few words of thanks. “We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all parents and carers for the generous donations of toiletries. On Tuesday afternoon, our Rota Kid Ambassadors delivered these items to St Clare’s Court Care Home where they received a warm welcome from staff and residents.
“It was a pleasure to spend time with everyone at the Care Home and the children thoroughly enjoyed joining in with the afternoon bingo session. We were especially delighted when Nevaeh won the full house and proudly came away with a prize!
“Our Rota Kid Ambassadors were an absolute credit to their families and our school, showing kindness, respect and enthusiasm throughout the visit. We will be returning to St Clare’s Court soon and will keep you updated in future newsletters.
“A special thank you also goes to Margaret Fenwick from Rotary Newton Aycliffe, who met us at the Care Home and thanked the children for visiting staff and residents at the home and to Sugar Hill families for generously supporting our local community. Thank you once again for your continued support, it truly makes a difference.
Mrs Legge would like to say a huge thank you to our Rota Kids Ambassadors. We will be appointing two Year Two ambassadors really soon! Watch out for more information.”
