On Friday 2nd February, as part of NSPCC’s Number Day, the children at Sugar Hill Primary School participated in the NSPCC Rocks competition. Children across all year groups were given allocated sessions where they could showcase their times tables skills via Times Tables Rock Stars and they also completed a range of number-based activities.
As part of the day, the children attended school dressed as rock stars or in number-themed outfits. It was great to see the enthusiasm on the children’s faces as they tackled all tasks with eagerness. To cap off a successful day, parents raised an impressive £220 for the NSPCC.
