On Friday 27th September, St. Joseph’s Primary School held a coffee afternoon in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The school’s wellbeing leaders (a team of Year 5 and 6 pupils) ran the event which was very well attended.
The pupils raised £150.
Mrs Evans (Headteacher) said, “The children were a credit to the school with their manners and politeness.”
Elise, one of the wellbeing leaders, stated, “It’s great to do these events because it’s helping charities and people in need.”
