What have you learnt about yourself,
As Covid worked its deadly stealth?
Have you learnt to prioritise?
Your family’s health is a treasured prize.
We all are stronger than we think
Although at times our spirits sink,
Lockdown rules have seemed so strict,
But many folk have become so sick.
Since the nation’s roadmap has been
announced,
A selfish few, the rules have flounced.
But please hang on, we’re almost there.
And soon our lives we can share,
If we proceed cautiously,
In order to once more feel free.
