Greenfield Community College students will be returning to school in September to return to full time face-to-face lessons with their teachers as they prepare for their next steps. There will be a phased return, with each year group being provided with a day to return to school. Safety measures will be in place and the school will be following guidelines.

Greenfield Community College is a specialist Arts and Science school with a strong record in developing the achievements of every student; establishing a solid grounding in core subjects whilst also allowing for diversity, continually excelling in subjects such as Photography, Dance and PE. The school is proud of its extended provision through the work of Greenfield Arts and Greenfield Sports.
Students have been supported during lockdown with a wide range of online resources, expert teaching and support with a consistent and well thought out supply of printed packs and resources. Students have been able to access school networks and retain a continual dialogue with their teachers. The school has been recognised as a regional winner by GCSE Pod for its student engagement and learning during this period, as well as a recent award for student voice and recognition from Inspire, for supporting student wellbeing.
Students have been excelling in many ways whilst learning at home. Progress in Hegarty Maths and Pod Games assignments have been ‘phenomenal’. Feedback has been excellent from students and families, “the school has been superb during this time both educationally and with the personal support received. There is always work sent out and it is of a high quality, brilliant”. Year 9 student.
