Head Chef and proprietor of Masala Tandoori takeaway, Syed Marjanul Haque of Cobblers Hall, Newton Aycliffe is the winner of the ‘Best Takeaway of the Year’ (Durham) 2023 at the second NEBA Awards (North East Bangladeshi Awards).
The award evening took place on Monday 4th December at The Fed in Newcastle, Syed was presented his award by Scottish MP, Foysol Chowdhury MSP.
Mr Haque later said: Masala Tandoori takeaway celebrates 10 years in Newton Aycliffe this year and to win is a great accolade for the restaurant. Thank you to all our loyal customers.”
