Tuesday 1st July marked the start of the new Rotary Year for 2025/26. Following a very successful year of fellowship and fundraising it was time for our inaugural handover evening.
The outgoing President, Geoff Knapton, the first President of Rotary Great Aycliffe, handed the baton for the upcoming year to incoming President, Don Walker.
The newly elected officers were also duly presented with their badges of office and a fabulous evening with Rotarians, friends and family then followed.
Many thanks to Ruth and her team at the Hammer & Pincers for helping to make the evening more memorable with excellent fayre and service.
All that is left to say is, to an even more successful year supporting the local community.
