Green Arts are thrilled to announce the opening of ‘The Little Gallery’ at the Eco Centre in Moore Lane. The gallery opened its doors in December with a fabulous new exhibition displaying work from local artists and creatives.
The gallery showcases the work of artists and crafters who have supported us over the last year and has been a great way to celebrate creativity in the community.
The gallery was made possible through funding from North East BIC who have also supported the initiative with business development mentoring and training opportunities. The gallery will inspire a craft programme which forms part of an exciting new season at Green Arts with activities for all.
Our new season sees the return of popular creative groups and workshops and we are thrilled to also offer new exciting opportunities for our community. Our new writing initiative ‘The Write Place’ will offer the chance to meet in a welcoming space and share a love of word. There will be a chance to learn new skills in a friendly and relaxed environment and enjoy writing for wellbeing, pleasure and publishing, with tips and workshops led by professionals. “We are so excited to be able to bring this to our community and look forward to inspiring others, a big thank you to PCP for their support through The Happiness Hub.” Just email the team to find out more and register your interest info@green-arts.co.uk
