Description of Activities: Monkey is a Big Lottery Fund partnership project offering free money support to social housing tenants across County Durham. Monkey is a partnership of 16 housing and voluntary sector organisations working with people in County Durham. Partners include social landlords, advice and support agencies and credit unions. We aim to help social housing tenants, and people applying for social housing, to gain access to a wider range of affordable finance, fuel and furniture services and products which will support successful tenancies. When you join Monkey you will receive a discount card which can get you discount on carpets, furniture, blinds and decorating materials at selected retailers across Co Durham.
