In light of the recent lockdown restrictions and the anticipated distancing measures we are all supporting to overcome the Covid-19 virus, Engineering and Manufacturing Network (EMN) have made the proactive decision to review the date of our EMCON event which was scheduled for 8th October 2020. We need to ensure that the show is delivered to the same high standard as in previous years whilst protecting exhibitors and visitors even if such gatherings are allowed at this point.

Proactive decision making in times of uncertainty.

EMN (show owners of EMCON) have deliberated for a number of weeks as to the best approach to progress the show for 2020. This has included conversations with the exhibitors and sponsors who had already booked for this year as to how best to progress with our plans. EMN recognise that even if things are back to ‘some kind of normal’ by October there will most likely still be concerns over large gatherings alongside our need to have sufficient time to deliver the quality of show you are used to.

Following these deliberations and consultations we have moved the show to 4th March 2021, therefore allowing the situation to ease and the worst of the bad weather to pass. This doesn’t however mean that October dates should be removed from your diaries for the coming years as we have plans afoot to deliver something new and exciting alongside our EMCON Show. More will be forthcoming in due course.

If you want to find out more about the show, our rationale and of course either make an enquiry to exhibit or register to attend then simply visit https://emcon.show

In the meantime, on behalf of the EMCON Team we wish for you all to remain safe and well and look forward to seeing everyone very soon.
