To mark the occasion of the introduction of the first ‘Corporate Member’ of Rotary Great Aycliffe, a plaque was unveiled at the Brafferton site of the Five Acres Community Garden CIC by Rotary President Don Walker and Charlotte Iceton representing Five Acres, which aims to help teenagers and young adults with physical and/or mental health difficulties.
Following the unveiling, Rotarians were given a tour of the scheme and were able to hear the exciting future plans of the organisation.
Rotary President, Don Walker, said “I am delighted to have Five Acres as the club’s first Corporate Member and look forward to working closely together in the future.”
