Monday Nights Go Back to the 80s with Dr AJ
On Monday evenings, listeners can take a trip down memory lane as Dr AJ takes over the station’s popular ‘Through the Decades’ 80s slot with The 80s Show. Broadcasting from 8pm, the programme will celebrate one of music’s most iconic decades, featuring classic hits, forgotten favourites, artist spotlights and fascinating stories from the era that defined a generation.
The Theme Team Arrives on Wednesdays
Wednesday evenings will see the launch of The Theme Team, hosted by Thomas and Kevin. The dynamic duo will explore a wide range of topics each week, pairing their chosen theme with a carefully curated soundtrack to match. From popular culture and history to hobbies, events and unique talking points, listeners can expect engaging discussion, humour and music that perfectly complements the subject matter.
Brand New Saturday Show from Aidan Coomber
Saturday afternoons are set to become even more exciting with the arrival of Aidan Coomber and his brand new programme ‘Made You A Mixtape’. Broadcasting from 4pm to 6pm, the show will feature a carefully selected blend of tracks inspired by the classic art of creating the perfect mixtape. Whether introducing listeners to new discoveries or revisiting timeless favourites, Aidan’s show promises a fresh and personal musical journey every week.
Saturday Night Disco Classics with Ian Killip
Completing the new additions is Ian Killip, who will bring the glamour and energy of the dance floor to Saturday evenings with Disco Classics. Airing from 7pm to 8pm, the show will celebrate the greatest disco anthems and dance floor favourites from across the decades, providing the perfect soundtrack to kick-start your Saturday night.
