The new monthly Newton Aycliffe Town Centre Craft Market continues to grow and is becoming more popular each month.
What started as a trial, alongside the Town Centre Easter event in April, has now developed into a popular monthly market with a good mix of stalls each month. Organised by Candy Queen Events, the markets of May and June were popular, but the latest market in July saw the best footfall yet with an extra 100 people through the door compared with June.
The market currently takes place in the unit that was, until recently, occupied by Heron and has up to 20 stalls each month. The types of stalls vary each month so, even if you have been before, it’s worth going along the following month to see what’s different, or to see if your favourite stall is there!
The next market takes place on Saturday 22nd August and is open from 10am until 4pm.
