Newton Aycliffe based Junior Pro-kart racer Scarlet Whitaker Dunn made further progress in round 7 of the Teesside Sprint Series held at Teesside Autodrome on Sunday 28th September.
Scarlet made steady progress in her three race heats despite having to contend with a wet track from the showers the night before, and oil on track from a fellow competitors kart which sent many karts spinning.
By the end of the weekend Scarlet had climbed to a creditable 10th place in the Teesside 2025 Sprint Series to the delight of her family team ‘Amaron’ made up of three generations of racers.
Due to family commitments, out of our control, Scarlet will unfortunately miss the last 2 rounds in the Teesside 2025 Sprint Series.
We would like to thank Amaron Racing, PHM (Peninsula Historic Motorsport), Carbon Arc Training and Consultancy, Grandad Ron and Rob Storey for their generous assistance and financial support making this possible.
If you are in a position to help Scarlet on her motor racing journey then please email mail@amandawhitaker.com as every little helps our family made up of three generations of racers.
