Week Engding 21st September 2025
Under 7’s travelled to Boro Rangers, playing very well in an evenly matched game, with both goals coming from Eli.
Under 10’ Reds travelled to face Cleveland Juniors Panthers in a fantastic game of football full of pride, passion, and belief, with the goals coming from Bear, Fox and Thomas. POTM was Leo for a fantastic effort in goal with PPOTM going to Gazza in defence.
Under 10’s Juniors travelled to Darlington Feethams, playing some stylish football with goals from Fletcher and Lincoln. MOTM was Luke in goal.
Under 11’s Whites put in a wonderful display against Prissick Reds, Teddy opened the scoring after early dominance, Olly then doubled the lead with a wonderful team goal before Elliot wrapped up the scoring. MOTM was the full team.
Under 12’s Reds faced Riverside Juniors, running out comfortable 8-1 winners, with both Charlie 3 and Andrew B grabbing hat-tricks. MOTM Koa added the other two goals.
Under 14’s Juniors suffered their first loss of the season against a robust Riverside Juniors Whites. Trailing 3-0, Aycliffe eventually lost 4-2 with Jonah and Jake scoring the goals.
Under 14’s Blacks travelled to Whitburn and Cleadon in the cup, losing out 1-0 despite an impressive performance. PPOTM was Kaylm who worked hard on the wing and MOTM was Ben in midfield.
Under 15’s travelled to Redcar, controlling a feisty game to win 2-0, with Layton W scoring both goals. MOTM was Oscar M.
Under 23’s welcomed Washington Celtic, hoping to make it five unbeaten in the league. That was quickly established with a fantastic 7-2 win. MOTM was Logan for his commanding performance in goal. Burrows (3), Layfield, Wright, Beattie and Stoker scored the goals.
Week Ending 28th September 2025
Under 7’s worked their socks off against a particularly good Wolviston side, with Eli scoring Aycliffe’s goal in a game where everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Under 8’s played Bedale in their first home game, Ethan grabbed a fantastic hat-trick, with Seb adding a superb goal. MOTM was Noah.
Under 9’s Blues travelled to Riverside Juniors Athletic for a third successive away game, against good opposition, Nate grabbed Aycliffe’s goal. PPOTM went the Harrison F for some great saves. POTM was shared between Jude and Oliver for an outstanding, committed defence partnership.
Under 9’s Juniors travelled to face Riverside Juniors Milan, putting in an impressive performance against a good team, Joey scored the goal with a great finish.
Under 10’s Juniors travelled to Cleveland Junior Lions, putting in a hard-working performance, they were rewarded with goals from Connor and Fletcher. MOTM was Linc & Connor for magnificent work rate.
Under 10’s Reds faced Billingham Synthonia Greens, on a tough day Fox scored Aycliffe’s goal. POTM went to Orig for a solid display and PPOTM was Jacob in defence.
Under 11’s faced Prissick Rovers United in a physical encounter, with Noah A grabbing Aycliffe’s goal. Harvey P was MOTM in goal, with some brilliant saves.
Under 11’s Whites faced Aycliffe Youth, putting in a gritty performance. Despite the performance, Aycliffe could not find the net. MOTM was Elliot who was a constant threat down the left and James who was calm and composed in defence.
Under 12’s Reds faced Marton Blues, recording a wonderful 5-0 win. Charlie (2), Andrew, Koa, Louie and Laitia scored the goals, with Laita getting MOTM for a great midfield display.
Under 12’s Blacks entertained Riverside Junior Yellows in a game full of goals, Aycliffe could not get the result they wanted, with Jack B, Alife and Grayson (2) scoring the goals. POTM was awarded to Hughie for his tireless battling performance.
Under 12’s Blues played against Sunderland Leon Whites in the cup, coming away with a great 3-1 win. Roman, Koa and Andrew scored the goals, with Laitia getting POTM.
Under 14’s Blacks Wear Utd Yellows, falling to a 4-2 loss. Goals were scored by Kaylm and Sammy, who won PPOTM.
Under 14’s Juniors faced Pools Youth Whites in the cup, running out 8-0 winners. Goals from Jonah (3), Lucas, Jake, Dan, Dom and a first ever goal for Olly B gave Aycliffe the win. OMOTM was Jonah and MOTM was Sammy.
Under 23’s travelled to face Ouston Cherry Tree, coming away with all three points in a 4-2 win which takes Aycliffe to the top of the league. Lawson (2), Slee and MOTM Humphries scored the goals.
