As Ayclive 2026 comes to an end, we’d just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made it such a fantastic weekend.
While thousands of people have enjoyed the music, the atmosphere and everything else the festival had to offer, it’s easy to forget just how much work goes on behind the scenes.
From setting up on Wednesday to the final pack down, an incredible team of volunteers gave up their time, without being paid, to help make sure everything ran safely and smoothly. Huge thanks also to the stage and sound crews, performers, traders and everyone working behind the scenes who helped bring the festival to life.
A special mention must also go to the directors and organising team. Although the festival lasts just a couple of days, the work behind it goes on all year. Countless hours are spent planning, fundraising, organising and solving problems, long before the first stage is built.
Thank you to Husqvarna as headline sponsor, together with Primex European Division, SecuriCorp, ESH Construction, Supportive, McDonald’s, Hall Construction, Woodham Golf Club, Bewick Pharmacy, Newton Press, Durham County Council, Dobsons Marquees, Hiyed, Northumbrian Water, North East Ambulance Service, Total Traffic Management, Aycliffe Cleaning Services, Great Aycliffe Town Council, Clear Brew Bar Services, Bishop Auckland College, Alan Strickland MP, and 5 Acres, this year’s nominated charity, along with the many other businesses, organisations and individuals whose support helped make this year’s event possible.
Community events like Ayclive don’t just happen. They happen because people and businesses come together, give up their time, lend their expertise and support one another to create something special for the whole community.
From all of us at Anything Aycliffe, thank you to everyone who played a part in making Ayclive 2026 another event the town can be proud of. We hope you all enjoy a very well deserved rest after everything you’ve put into it.
Roll on Ayclive 2027.
