Week Ending 8th March 2026
Under 8’s Juniors travelled to face Hartlepool Stags in a 2nd round cup game. In a tight game, the Juniors progressed on penalties. The goals were scored by Noah (2), Jacob M and Ethan, who was awarded MOTM.
Under 10’s Juniors welcomed Kader FC for a Cup game. Aycliffe come out fast and played great passing football, scoring goals through Kian (2), Zeke and Lincoln. Kian was awarded MOTM.
Under 10’s Reds faced Marton FC Gold, away in the Challenge Cup, Aycliffe could not progress to the next round, but Fox and Korben both went close to scoring. POTM was Korben and PPOTM was Yash.
Under 11’s faced Auckland Moors Grey and scored three excellent goals in a great result, with Oscar’s strike the pick of the bunch from twenty-five yards. Noah A and Oliver T scored the other goals. Oliver T was awarded MOTM.
Under 11’s Whites faced Darlington Young Bulls, wanting to avenge the result from earlier in the season, Aycliffe did exactly that, putting in a wonderful performance. Dexter (2), Rowan, Jimbo and OG scored goals. OPOTM was Rowan and CPOTM was Dexter.
Under 12’s Blues played Gateshead Rutherford, going down 4-2, despite dominating most of the game. Charlie scored both of Aycliffe’s goals with Laitia and Miles assisting. Alfie was awarded MOTM.
Under 12’s Blacks travelled to face Darlington RA, having a day to forget. Aycliffe kept their heads up and played some good football towards the end of the game.
Under 12’s Reds faced Darlington RA Tornadoes in the second round of the challenge cup. An outstanding performance saw Aycliffe progress to the next round with an amazing 7-1 win. The goals were scored by Yash (3), Alife (2), Marshall and Jace. Laiitia was awarded the MOTM.
Under 13’s Whites hosted top of the table Durham, Aycliffe were trailing before pressure from a Billy corner forced an OG. It ended 2-2 with Oscar scoring a penalty. MOTM was Charlie H.
Under 13’s Blacks hosted Linthorpe, in a game where they could not find the result they wanted. Daniel B and Riley B scored the two goals for Aycliffe, with Logan B being awarded MOTM.
Under 14’s Juniors welcomed Riverside Junior Whites in a top of the table clash. Aycliffe secured a crucial 2-1 win thanks to goals from Jonah and Jake. MOTM was awarded to Olly and Shay.
Week Ending 15th March 2026
Under 9’s Blues travelled to face Darlington United Vikings, putting in a dominant display. Some sublime passing led to Nate scoring (4), Harrison (2) and Leland. POTM went to Nate and PPOTM went to Harrison.
Under 9’s Juniors hosted Heighington in a derby match, it was a great game with both teams creating good chances. Lee made his debut in goal, making some great saves. Cooper helped himself to a hat-trick for Aycliffe.
Under 11’s faced Greatham FC in a tight game. Oliver T scored two and Noah A added another for Aycliffe. It was goalkeeper Harvey P who won MOTM with some amazing saves.
Under 11’s Whites faced Aycliffe Falcons, putting in a great display in the derby. Goals from Olly (2), Dexter and Thomas. OMOTM was Olly and CMOTM was Rowan.
Under 12’s Blues faced Durham Wasps, running out 6-1 winners in a wonderful team performance. Charlie (3), Koa (2) and Alfie scored the goals. Koa was awarded MOTM for two goals and two assists.
Under 12’s Blacks faced Under 12’s Reds, with the Reds running out winners with goals from Alfie (2), Charlie, Laitia (3), Koa (2) and Yash (2). MOMT was Laitia for a dominant display.
Under 13’s Blacks hosted high flying Riverside City Juniors, putting in a great display to draw 3-3. Goals from Riley B, Kai and MOTM Lleyton.
Under 14’s Whites faced high flying Spennymoor, narrowly missing out 6-4 in a ten-goal thriller. Harry (2), Oliver and Thomas scored Aycliffe’s goals. MOTM was awarded to Thomas and Harry.
Under 14’s Blacks hosted Ryton and Crawcrook, losing 3-5. Connor scored a hat-trick which won him PMOTM with Tommy winning MMOTM.
Under 15’s travelled to Leven, with a depleted squad. They should not have worried as they put in an impressive performance to win 4-2. Oscar J (3) and Rhys scored the goals, with Rhys being awarded MOTM.
Under 23’s hosted Witton Gilbert, looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat last time out. Changes to the starting 11 saw Aycliffe run out 9-2 winners. Andrew B (4), Sam B (2), Damian L, Ethan S and Curtis L scored goals.
