Hitachi Hypocrisy

Dear Sir,
Every week our MP tells us he is working hard for Hitachi, but last weekend there were disturbing reports that the Department for Transport were blocking Lumo trains application for new routes, which would have opened an option for a further £460m worth of orders and I have not seen any reaction from him to these stories.
It was also reported that the new Rail Minister is less enthusiastic about support for open access operators like Lumo, and that her priority is rail nationalisation. We are constantly told the Government has no money so, if not, private operators, where is the investment going to come from?
I am seriously worried that like so many things that this Labour Government have either misled us, reneged on or just plain lied about, that support for Hitachi is just the next abandoned promise.
So, can our MP please tell us what he has actually done? Has he any assurances from above that support is real?
Where is this pen that could solve everything?
