Earlier this month, two of the instructors from Newton Aycliffe Karate Club travelled to Cumbria for their 3rd Dan Black Belt Gradings, under Sensei Iain Abernethy. Martyn and Ryan Butterfield are father and son, they have trained together for thirty years and have both worked extremely hard and dedicated a lot of time to get where they are now. We, as a club, are extremely proud of their accomplishments. We have a few family groups that train together, if you would like to see what we do, we have two classes per week on a Tuesday and Thursday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm; kids 6.00pm to 9.00pm and 10 years and upwards 7.30pm to 8.30pm – first lesson is free.
