Newton Aycliffe Bridge Club Social Evening and Presentation of Trophies was held at The Hammer and Pincers on Monday 13th April. Starting 6 for 6.30pm, and having the place to ourselves, a lovely atmosphere prevailed as visitors from The Darlington Club were welcomed. A meal was enjoyed before a good session of Bridge was played. Sadly six of our members were unable to be with us, two of which, Phil and Chrissie Constable, will be presented with the Peacock Cup at the next Club meeting. The star performers and worthy winners, Linda Lawson and Tony Mawston, were presented with The Autumn Bowl and The Walker Trophy, popular winners! The Club meets every Monday, apart from Bank Holidays, at The OakLeaf Sports Complex, 7.00pm, in very best surroundings and visitors are very welcome. For further details contact:
