A popular food festival, promising something for the whole family, will return next summer, with applications now open for traders.
Delivered by Durham County Council, Seaham Food Festival will return to the region’s coast for a weekend of food, fun and entertainment on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd August.
Attracting thousands of visitors each year, and featuring more than 120 traders, there’s something for everyone at the event, from street food and sweet treats to local beverages and savoury goods. Plus, applications are now open for traders interested in running a stall next year.
Interested traders are asked to include as much information as possible about their business in their application, including latest news and awards, images of their stall, social media handles, and details of their produce.
Potential applicants have until Thursday 12th February to apply, which can be done online.
As with other years, the cookery theatre will be a highlight of this year’s festival and will feature a series of cookery demonstrations from a star-studded line up of TV chefs, details of whom will be revealed next year.
