7th December, 4.00pm – Christingle Service. A joyful family-friendly start to the Christmas season.
14th December, 6.00pm – 9 Lessons & Carols. Traditional carols sung by an enhanced choir, with lessons read by representatives from the community. All are warmly invited to join us afterwards for mulled wine and mince pies.
21st December, 6.00pm – Christmas Evening at St Michael’s. A festive community event featuring live music and singing. Seasonal refreshments served from 5.15pm.
22nd December, 7.00pm – Blue Christmas Service. A gentle, reflective service for those who find Christmas a difficult time.
Christmas Eve, 3.00pm – Carols Round the Tree. Don your Christmas jumpers and join in the fun for this much-loved family favourite!
Christmas Eve, 8.30pm – Communion by Candlelight. A warm and uplifting candlelit service, led by Revd David Payne, welcoming Christmas in a spirit of peace and joy. Please note the earlier start time of 8.30pm.
Christmas Day, 9.30am – Christmas Morning Worship with Holy Communion. Join us in celebration with worship, carols and a true spirit of Christmas. The service will end in candlelight, as we form a circle around the nave, each holding a candle of hope.
Services at St Andrew’s Church, Bolam
20th December, 7.00pm – Community Carol Service. Celebrate the season with your favourite carols and festive cheer. Refreshments served afterwards.
Christmas Day, 9.30am – Christmas Morning Worship with Holy Communion. Christmas morning celebration with joyful worship and traditional carols.
