With Christmas just around the corner, this time of year can be really stressful, financially as well as emotionally.
Please don’t struggle alone – we pride ourselves on providing a welcome, warm, safe place for you to come for a chat, hot drink and snack, food and fuel support and the many support groups who visit us to help you with those worries.
We’ve had donations of advent calendars, all ready to hand out before December.
We are open every Wednesday and Friday between 1.30pm and 3.30pm in St. Clare’s Church Hall and the only day that we will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period is Boxing Day, 26th December.
If you are a member of our wonderful community who would like to donate a little something to help individuals and families this Christmas, please either drop in to see us in the church hall when we are open, or leave in the donation bin in Tesco, ideally by Friday 12th December.
If you are in Tesco between Thursday 27th to Saturday 29th November you may even see some of us there as part of the County Durham and Sunderland Tesco Winter collection. Please be sure to say hello.
